City of London solicitor. Acting for the London Corporation at Catherine Eddowes' inquest.
Born Henry Homewood Crawford in 1850 in Southwark. Educated at Thanet College. Admitted as solicitor in 1872 and practiced with Samuel Carter at 90 Cannon Street, London EC, until 1935.
Mr. Crawford, after hearing the testimony of Joseph Lawende, stated that he had "special reason for not giving details as to the appearance" of the man seen with Eddowes by Lawende.
He died in 1936.
