Police Constable George Simmons (City).

Assisted PC Louis Robinson with taking a very inebriated Catherine Eddowes to Bishopsgate Police Station on the evening of 29th September 1888[1].

Simmons later confirmed that the deceased was indeed the woman who had been locked up for being drunk and who was later released at 1.00am, 30th September.[2]
