Past Traces

120 page full colour photo book by Andrew Firth, published by blurb.com. in 2009. The book features photographs of the following sites: Osborn Street, Gunthorpe Street, Durward Street, Hanbury Street, Henriques Street, Mitre Square, Dorset Street, Old Castle Street, Pinchin Street and Swallow Gardens. Also featured are other notable points of interest in the east end, such as the Old Spitalfields Market and The Whitechapel Bell Foundry.

All photographs were taken between 2003 and 2009.

The book also features a recommended walk that takes in all the locations featured. A number of photomontages of the murder sites are also included, where elements from old black and white photos are placed in their corresponding modern day view.
